Centre is a P-9 school serving students in the area surrounding the town of Lunenburg. Our School Improvement Plan includes the following:

SMART Goals

SMART Goal 1:  By June 2010, students/parents and staff satisfaction in regards to appropriate student behaviour will increase by an average 20% as measured by an annual survey.

SMART Goal 2:  By June 2010, improve communication (between school & home, students & staff and staff & administration) so that 70% or more of these stake holders report satisfaction level of 70% or higher as measured by an annual survey. 

SMART Goal 3:  By June 2010 staff will collaborate to share ideas and teaching methods so that 80% or more of the grades 3, 6 and 9 students meet or exceed outcomes as measured by the provincial English Language Arts and school based assessment tools. 

Our school is in the planning process of creating a new facility which will

encompass Centre Consolidated School with  Lunenburg Junior High,

Lunenburg Academy and Riverport District Elementary School. We will

be working with students, staff and parents from all schools through this

exciting process.
